Need help with corona registration

Hi, I have both Windows and Mac.
I just bought the corona pack with this email, but whenever I try to activate it in Mac, it says I didn’t buy it yet and I have to use the trial version. I think its because I have another email registered for Mac, but I cant see to find the way to change that email.
Also I have a related question: can I use this email for both windows and mac? This email is the windows one, but I didnt activate it yet just in case I wont be able to do it in the Mac version.

Hey Undecode,

You mention having two different emails - whichever one is the Pro account (the one you used to post this) is the one you should be using.

You can run Pro on 2 computers at once, which could be a Mac and a PC if you wish.

For your Mac can you try this to authorize;

Quit corona if running?, relaunch it, ?enter your Pro login info.

Then if that that fails go to /users/library/preferences and delete up to three 3 in there that start with com.anscamobile.

Thanks for the help, it worked.

In a side note, do you know from wich version corona crashes running in a virtual machine? As far a I know, the public release 591 works fine, but 650+ dont.

I’m afraid I don’t know which version has issues with a virtual machine as we don’t officially test that kind of thing - sorry!

Yes, you would likely encounter some issues because there are APIs present in 704 that aren’t present in 591.

If you must use 591 to developer I’d suggest building with it as well.

You could always build to test using 591 as well, then see how it runs on device - but I wouldn’t rely on it working perfectly coming from 704.
