Wow Aprial, you have a lot of questions!-)

Let’s try to take care of them:

  1. Yes, you can play and record voice. With the Audio API you have quite a bit of control over the audio, but I haven’t tried to make it do funny voices.
  2. If I understand your question, yes, you can drag animated sprites, or cause a sprite to move by tapping on it… I’m not sure what you mean by 100 frames.
  3. There are several. One of the most successful companies is Fire Maple Games http://www.firemaplegames.com/
  4. Again, there are several places for source code for games. There are a lot of samples ( I suggest http://www.learningCorona.com… they have links to just about everything) including sample games in the published books.
  5. The Corona SDK is a 1 year subscription. Price is dependent on what platforms you wish to develop for and if you are a student or not. Standard subscription is $199 for iOS OR Android, $349 for a Pro license which allows development on all platforms.
  6. Mine :-D. Seriously, if you are just getting started in app development, then “Mobile App Development with Corona” is a good place to start (http://www.BurtonsMediaGroup.com/books). If you are an experienced programmer, then Michelle’s book on game development is a must have.
  7. Again, I recommend http://www.learningcorona.com I don’t think there are any full games like in Michelle’s and my books, but you will find pieces and parts that are very useful.
    Hope that helps!
