Need to submit premium version before Lite version

I think I am opting for a lite and a premium version of my game.

If I want to include a link in the lite version to buy the full version, do I need to submit the premium version first in order to get a link to it from the app store?

Also do the games have to have different names?

I notice the name for the lite version of Angry Birds appears as just Angry Birds on my phone - I don’t have the paid for version to compare.
