Need your opinion. Game "101 Starships"

Dear colleagues!

I really need to know your opinion. Does this game a stupid one or great. What is interesting or boring. What do you like here or dislike? Do you want to play it?

Description:

There is enemy fleet of 101 starships on your way.

Destroy them all . Do it gracefully! 

Hardcore game without upgrades and levels. But with 22 types of ships, which appear gradually , 5 bosses , lasers , missiles , teleporters, and so on .

It’s laconic . The goal is to destroy all 101 ships . That’s all. 
But it is (I hope) interesting!

The project is at the stage of intensive development (70% done). But I need feedback.

Feedback:

  • High score so far 22
  • I like the premise of introducing more and more variants as well as insta-death and restart.
  • There is a bug in the joystick code that triggered the first time I played it (line114?)  I think you’re catching an event with an object that was just removed.  Check for valid objects and quit the listener early if the object isn’t valid and you’ll be golden.
    • I didn’t logcat the error in time.  Sorry.
  • Sound track is good.  Pleasant but fades into the background once you get rolling along.
  • Starfield.  Sweet effect looks great.
  • Artwork - Consistent which is a hard thing to do.
  • Player joystick - I’m having a little bit of trouble with this.  I can control the ship OK, but sometimes it feels like it lags a little when I change direction.
  • On-screen buttons for weapons.  Its fine to hide the joystick, but I keep dying poking around for the weapons.  An on-screen indication would help.  Also, having the top ‘button’ lower would be good for tablets.  
  • HUDS - I get where you’re going w/ the on-ship indicators for shields and weapon readiness, but I have trouble keeping an eye on them.  Can you make an option to show HUDs?  Not required, but might help some folks enjoy the game more.

Overall, this is a great game and I think  you should be proud.  Let us know when you finish it.
