New APK doesn't show update notification for users

Hello,

I updated my APK on google play several times.

But users didn’t receive update notifications.

I tried it myself and cannot figure it out yet.

VersionCode and version name both are higher than older build.

EX:

VersionCode 100 -> 101

version name 1.0 -> 1.0.1

But it seems I can only update it manually via “my applications”.

Did I miss some build settings?

Have you added new permissions?  

I believe that when you add new permissions you have to manually update the app.
