New Apple Application uploader & Corona building process

Hi all,

I understand that Apple modified its ways to upload app on iTunes Store. So, now we have to use Xcode to upload apps. What about this new procedure and Corona building process?

You don’t need to, and can’t use xCode to upload applications. You just need the application loader, which you can download from iTunes connect or it comes with current versions of the iPhone SDK. [import]uid: 6678 topic_id: 1529 reply_id: 4286[/import]

I downloaded the Application Loader from Apple, but it isn’t allowing me to select my Corona-built apps. Do I need to add a file extension to them for the app to recognize them. My apps are recognized just fine by iTunes.

My app was built using a distribution certificate, but after marching through the Application Uploader wizard, in the file selection window, my iPhone app remains grayed out and isn’t selectable. Any suggestions. It is a first time upload for this app. [import]uid: 4418 topic_id: 1529 reply_id: 4508[/import]

We have exactly the same problem. Our application isn’t selectable and is greyed out. Did you ever resolve this? [import]uid: 13758 topic_id: 1529 reply_id: 16566[/import]

ok i realised that you just compress it to a zip file because the .app file is really just a folder/directory (make sure you do the zip compress on a mac)… of course ive hit other hurdles now - but thats another topic. [import]uid: 13758 topic_id: 1529 reply_id: 16579[/import]
