Just wondering if there’s any plans to implement audio recording in the new sound API ?

I hit a stumbling block using the old sound events, where Android can’t record wav format, so have been waiting for a fix or better still, audio recording for the new sound API.

Just wondering if there’a any progress on this front, and if audio recording with the new sound API has been exposed in the daily builds ?

This is a lower priority item. However, fixing the Android format limitations is a higher priority. But I consider fixing Android audio issues in general even more important than both of these, but until sentiment changes on when we can move to 2.3+ and drop 2.2, all this stuff is not likely to happen.
