New Computer (Certificate not Installed) Issue

Heya,

I’ve started using Corona on a fresh computer, I’ve downloaded my developer certificate (and it appears in Keychain Access and it’s listed as valid) and the provisioning profile for my game. However when I run Corona the provisioning profile shows up, but it’s greyed out with (Certificate Not Installed) next to it.

I’ve restarted the machine, removed and reinstalled the developer certificate, got the provisioning profile a couple of times, and now I’m out of ideas.

Any one know how to fix this?

How many certificates do you have in Keychain Access? Make sure you’ve downloaded and added your developer and distribution certificates as well as downloaded the WWDC again.

Do you still have access to the previous computer? It’s very easy to copy across your dev stuff that way.

Thanks, I had a a quick check and I had my developer certificate, not sure about the WWDC one though.

When I had a look in xCode, it highlighted the certificate as not having a matching private key. I’ve got xCode to export my developer profile on the old machine, and I’ll then import in on the new one and see what happens.

Hey,

In the end I managed to get it working fine by exporting my Developer Profile from the Xcode 4 Organiser on my old laptop and importing it into into Xcode on my new laptop.

I have a feeling that that should be completely sufficient, but I admit that I had downloaded a few certificates from the iOS developer profile before I did that - I don’t know if anyone else could confirm that?

I am not a pro with certificates however my last move I believe I did the export from Xcode, then downloaded my certificates from iTC and exported/imported my private key to keychain access.

You could always do a build to test?
