New Corona

Getting Started Newbie Questions

Hi

Sincere apologies if this is basic. Having been away from Corona for about two years, I have just downloaded the latest Corona SDK (starter). When I use the simulator to open my previous projects (which displayed great two years ago) I now find that the splash image is out of place (only showing bottom right hand corner) and the buttons on my splash page are up around the middle of the screen! I have been able to adjust the buttons so that they are in their original place on the screen but can anyone help re the splash image and why has it done this?

Odds are that you are using reference points in your old projects and you need to either switch over to anchor points or set your projects to graphics 1.0 compatibility mode.

I could be wrong but that is a really good place to start.
