New Device Incompatibility Alerts

Our apps weren’t running on the iPad 3, and for awhile we were oblivious. All it took to fix, was downloading the latest Daily Build, changing build.settings, and re-compiling. Of course it’s our job to maintain vigilance over new devices introduced to market, but it would be nice to have some email alert from Ansca or a Community entity, if apps published with older version of CoronaSDK are not compatible with new devices. I’m not complaining, just putting this idea out there because we would value it greatly.

Thanks for great software, and a vibrant community!

Always!

(For future reference there was a spam post between OP and Brent - no one was calling the OP a troll, which is what it looks like now I’ve cleaned up.)

@coderebelbase - I shall bring up your request at our next meeting.

@coderebelbase: there was a spammer trolling the forums today, it has been dealt with (seemed like a spambot) [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 27133 reply_id: 110315[/import]

Apologies @coderebelbase, without the spam post (something about buying Diablo 3 “currency”) in position #2, this whole thread is taken out of context. I’m glad it has been cleared up. I certainly wasn’t calling you a troll.
