New IPad Problem

Hi I’m facing this problem with the new IPad display. What happens is everytime I test my games on my new IPad the images display very close up more like zoomed in. I don’t know why I even downloaded daily builds 767 and also I get an error saying At least one of the following architecture(s) must be present: armv6 (-19033). I don’t know why I’m getting these errors and mistakes. Also i still have Xcode 4.0.1

So anu suggestion to get rid of these errors, and mistakes. [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 323513[/import]

I believe the new build 767 is meant for XCode 4.3.1. You must have Lion to run it as well as iOS 5.1. [import]uid: 21331 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94354[/import]

@TheRealTonyK so your saying to fix my screen problem I need to have Xcode 4.3.1. So what about my armv6 error I get how do I fix that? [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94356[/import]

That may also be related to Xcode, although I’m not certain.

Update to use newest build and if error is still present (armv6) please post to let us know about it.

Thanks,

@peach Yes I did that I build the latest build using 767 and still get the error. I did that yesterday [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94422[/import]

Do you happen to have the MinimumOSVersion set in your build settings?

I got the same error yesterday, but after removing that, the ARMV6 error disappeared and it built fine. You could also set it to 4.3 and i think that would also fix the issue. [import]uid: 69826 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94429[/import]

@TandG so how would it look in the build settings. Also how would I fix the new iPad screen because I get my image zoomed in. So how would that be fix [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94430[/import]

Did you update xcode as suggested? [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94467[/import]

To look in build settings double click on the build.settings file in your project folder.

As Danny asked, have you updated Xcode yet? Would also like to know this. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94673[/import]

@peach no I have not updated to the latest Xcode I have Xcode 4.0.1. [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94694[/import]

I had the same arm6 problem. You need to update Xcode to make it disappear. [import]uid: 13632 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94699[/import]

Xcode 4.0.1 is very old and out of date. As has now been echoed a few times, you must update. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94729[/import]

@peach ok now I understand. Thanks to everyone for helping now I know what to do [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 23513 reply_id: 94732[/import]
