New To Android

Hello,

I currently have an app for iOS, but recently upgraded to a Corona SDK Pro subscription so I could build for Android as well. The only thing stopping me from doing that is the fact that I do not own an Android device to test my app on. My question is: Do Corona based apps run on all Android devices? Also, could someone please recommend an Android device for me to buy for testing purposes (preferably not a phone…I’m very happy with my current phone).

well from what i know is that corona doesnt work on all androids. They need arm7 (something like that). I have an acer Iconia 501 and corona apps work properly and i think that the acer tablet is really good and easy to use [import]uid: 31078 topic_id: 20241 reply_id: 79042[/import]

ARMv7 and Android 2.2+ is the requirement for Android.

I can’t offer any non phone suggestions, although if you decide to go with a phone the HTC Incredible S is one of the most affordable ARMv7 Android devices I’ve seen and it is very nice to use.
