could u please provide when we could expect to use iCloud?
I like to be able to store a document in the docs folder and
that file should be shared to all devices with the same iCloud id.

All files in documents folder is per automatic stored in the cloud, if you don’t set the flag to not backup it to the cloud. It has been like this for a while, If I am not wrong?

Does your answer link to a solution for that question ?
the backup only could work if you reset your phone and say backup from cloud.
SYNC is the future !!! otherwise the iCloud Feature is quiet boring
