Hi, schroederapps.
I agree that’s a good idea, cause what the heck, right? Sometimes it works. She had thought to try it too. No luck. Thank you for trying to help.

Rob, will do. No worries on the timeframe. I’m sure you’re busy. Thank you!
It’s playing sound just fine on my iPad 4.
Fascinating … good news for the app in general, not so much for the woman without sound. I’ll let her know. Thanks very much for checking it out. I appreciate your quick response. Best, L
Hi lbolduc, did you ever find out what the problem was? I’m having a similar issue- 2 customers (so far) with no audio from app on
ipad. I tested on an ipad mini, sound fine. (Also fine on iPhone 4, various android devices, etc).
One of these reports was an email, one a bad rating on iTunes- so I can’t really have them run tests.
If you have a moment- please post here to let us know if you discovered the problem.
Thanks
Hi, roboward. Unfortunately, this was never solved for my customer. The problem only occurred on her iPad 4 (not her mini); it worked on Rob’s iPad 4 and my iPads 1 ,2 & 3. She tested everything we could think of (via email). Most frustrating, her audio worked on every app, but mine and one other. If an answer surfaces, I will post. If you find one, please let us know. Thank you. Best, L
PS–Re the bad review, if your sound is working for everyone else, you can try contacting the store through iTunesConnect. Explain that sound works for everyone else. If the customer claim is false, they will remove it. Hope that works for you.
We had a report identical to this 3-4 months back. Somebody on an iPad4 with no sound from just the Corona game. But no followup and no repro so we just let it go.

We had the same problem with our iPad 2. No sound!! we double checked the orientation lock button and sure enough it was downward Locked position.
It will fool you because iTunes and iOS “Music” app will play but our app’s sound files wouldn’t play.
Unlocked it and all is happy again. We really thought this was the iOS 8 64-bit issue. We hadn’t updated our app yet.
Don’t forget to examine the sound files for things like:
