Asking for a friend, laptop with Win 7. He has followed this guide, i.e. installed JDK but not the Android dev SDK. There’s nothing in the console, of course. This fails on provided examples, so it has nothing to do with the project he’s coding. He has checked preferences and found nothing out of order. Where should he start looking?
Is he getting the startup screen? (Open, Recent, etc.)?

I am shown the “Welcome Screen”, yes.
He’s using the Lua Glider IDE and the issue seems to have been that icon files were not generated, it works now.
