That just means they’ve sold out of current stock in preparation for the launch of the next version of Kindle Fire. Amazon has an “announcement” set for next week where it’s likely they’ll launch a new version (or two) of the Kindle Fire.

Yea, they depleted their stock of the 1st edition. They are probably waiting to see what Apple does and try to steal some thunder from them with either a pre-Sept 12 or post Sept 12 announcement.

Good I need a Kindle Fire for testing, and once the new ones start coming out I will snag an older one cheap. [import]uid: 160496 topic_id: 30422 reply_id: 121936[/import]
