No sound from Corona Simulator on my Win 10 machine

I develop apps with Corona on a few different computers. On one of them, however, the Corona Simulator stubbornly refuses to make any kind of sound from the Corona Simulator. All other system sounds works as they should.

Anyone had this problem before? Anyone know of a solution?

I’m using Corona Simulator 2018.3349

Mighty strange. No issue here running it on Windows 10, that’s all I can say.

I forgot to say. I’m running Win 10 on my other PCs and that also works just fine. It is this one PC / installation that is problematic…

Could this help?

Also, did an update run recently? Sometimes they run in the background without you knowing…

That was a good tip! I didn’t know about this per app volume settings.

Didn’t change anything though…

By “update” do you mean Win 10 update? Happens all the time I guess. I’ve had the problem for a few months though, so it’s not a recent update that has caused it.

Could it be that there’s an issue with DirectX and OpenAL? Or with issues with 32-bit and 64-bit apps, or administrator rights?
