Nook applicationSuspend/applicationExit fail

My Nook troubles continue! The app always quits/restarts after pressing the “N” key. On iPhone, iPad, HTC Incredible II, it’s just fine, I get my “paused” screen upon resuming the app. On the Nook Tablet, software version 1.4.0, the app always restarts when I go back to it. Nothing happens with my applicationSuspend/applicationExit routine, it’s just like the App quit. Any suggestions? I’m using Corona build 2011.704

Anyone have any info on this? It sounds like this is a show stopper as someone else had their app rejected because of the “n” key:

Has anyone built a Nook app with a working applicationSuspend/applicationExit routine? Is their something I am missing? Is it different than iOS?

Just kind of wondering here if anyone has this working?

It seems like this might be a problem with the Nook, I downloaded another Corona made app (which I also have on the iPhone), and on Nook their pause feature does not work as well. The “N” key just kills the app. Is there a trick we are missing. I’m surprised this one made it through if someone else’s app was rejected because it did not handle the “N” key, unless you just have to plan on getting lucky with a reviewer in a good mood. So, here I am, just kind of wondering about this considering I would like to submit my app to B&N. Anyone? Corona Staff? Hellooooooooooooooo? Any ideas? Suggestions? Theories? Solutions?

Incredible. No one has any solution or idea on this? I am so astonished I have had to come up with a few theories why there are no responses here, even from Ansca Staff:

  1. The answer is a highly guarded secret. You need to be initiated by sacred rite into an underground society to receive this hidden knowledge.
  2. No one else can see this post. I am in an alternate universe where this post only exists to me. In fact it isn’t even a problem in most universes.
  3. We are just hoping the problem will quietly go away by itself, like spontaneous world peace.

My apps got approved, I do not have any applicationSuspend/applicationExit code in either app.

Analytics show they tested my app on two devices and clicked on a few buttons.

I would try just submitting again.

Yes, I got my app submitted and it passed even though the “N” key quits the APP on exit. It’s not really the expected behavior, it would be nice if it was fixed, but at least the APP passed. [import]uid: 8139 topic_id: 22379 reply_id: 98783[/import]

I recently also got approved on barnes&noble.
My app was working like a charm, it would suspend when I pressed the n key and resume when I load it back, fantastic.
Today there was an update from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3. And now it doesn’t resume anymore, it quits and starts from the beginning when its loaded.
Anybody else has the same problem?
