We are currently prepping Forever Lost for Google Play, Amazon and Samsung and we’re now curious about Nook. When signing up it wants an EIN or SSN number, do we need these if we are a UK company? Hopefully I can help as I went through the process of signing up from the UK just over a month ago and now have a few apps in the Nook store.
Yes you will need one of those. I went for the EIN personally as it is supposedly easier to get things moving. Just a quick skype call to the IRS and had it within twenty minutes.
Though the Nook application process does take a few weeks after you apply.
I also used this EIN for Amazon as they would otherwise charge you the extra 30% tax.
