my game was rejected by b&n for running too slow on the nook color - i don’t have one to test on, has anyone encountered this?
it runs fine on a first gen kindle, so i’m a little surprised.
would anyone with nook color be willing to test it out for me? to see if it’s spewing loads of errors or anything…
i can point you to an apk if so
thanks
andy
@boss1
My Nook color is significantly slower than my first gen Kindle Fire. Animations can lag, and sounds can stutter on the nook where they play fine on other devices.
I use the nook to help baseline performance, since its the slowest thing I have
eek, my kindle was my baseline… and there’s no way to exclude devices on the nook developer site…
thanks for replying!
@boss1 have you had a look at the “supported platforms” when you submit your app. perhaps don’t check the box for nook color?
I have an app that I couldn’t get approved for the nook color. It’s not doing anything that should require a lot of CPU power, but it does use a lot of texture memory. I ended up only submitting it for the Nook tablet ( and later Nook HD).
i must have missed that box, i couldn’t see it when editing the app. thanks for pointing that out…
thanks all.
