Not Building app for iOS

I am wondering if there are any reasons corona does not ever finish “Performing build” while building for iOS. I know having a poor internet connection (which I do not happen to have) can slow it down – but not to the extent where I need to keep my computer running for hours…

A while back I was having problems with my provisioning profiles and I had switched to a new computer, and corona would not allow me to build. I have now though fixed that problem, and moved onto this one. A couple of months ago, before this problem, it was working fine and I was able to build for my iPad, and publish to the app store. Now I cannot release my next update or test any future version which is a huge setback.

Please let me know on how I can solve this problem!

Hi @kariokong1,

What Corona build number are you using, might I ask? And which version of OS X? Which platform(s) are you building for?

Brent

When I posted this I was using: Version 2013.1137 (2013.6.7) of Corona, but I recently downloaded the newest daily build available and it still did not work. I am using version 10.8.4 of OS X, and I am building for iPads. I recently experimented with building for android – and it worked. I do not know if the problem is on the corona or apple side of things…

-----EDIT

I found a warning in terminal:

WARNING: Could not find certificate for identity (iPhone Distribution: NAME HERE) whose user id is: ----------

This means it had nothing to do with corona’s side of things

One thing corona could do though is let the user know (in a popup window rather aswell as terminal), instead of having it continue loading forever. Thanks!

You were right, it had nothing to do with corona.

You do need developer certificate from apple to publish your apps to IOS.

You can follow this guide:

http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/distribution/iOSBuild/index.html

And this gave me a lot of information as well:
