Not getting bug number email after reporting a bug

Today I tried to submit a bug via Corona website but I didn’t get an email about the bug number.

I thought my last submit had something wrong, so I tried again, still no email.

Anything changed or anything wrong? How to make sure if the bug is really submitted?

Hi @joe528,

Everything should be working (I still get these if I enter a bug case myself). As obvious as this seems, are your spam filters blocking it?

Brent

I don’t have spam filters in my email.

And after I submitted the bug, I am sure it was successful because I saw a green bar saying the bug has submitted.

I am still receiving other emails from CoronaLabs by the way.

Are you submitting them with the same email address as you are logged into Corona and the Forums with?

Rob

Yes, I didn’t log out, and I only have one username/password to login Corona.

See, I still can get the forum notification email just now.

Forum notifications come from a different server than bug reports do, so that doesn’t mean much.  We are not seeing email issues.  What was the bug report about?  When I search for your email address I see a bug filed on 4/6 about the webView.  Could you have had a typo in your email address when you submitted the form?

Give me something to look up and I’ll see if I can find it.

Rob

I don’t need to enter email address when submitting bug report. I just checked again, there is no such a field in the bug report form. I think it just uses my Corona login email address.

The bug I filed is also about webView, filed 24 hours ago or so, the title is something like this “After case 30097, changing webView width/height gives wrong width/height”. It’s about a new bug after case 30097 is claimed fixed.

Somehow it got attached to the bottom of 30097, which is still active. That’s why there wasn’t a new message.

Rob

Thanks Rob

Should I file a bug again or it’s ok being attached to the bottom of 30097, same effectiveness?

No need to refile.
