Nothing printing to terminal and Corona Simulator crashing on startup

I’m about a year into the development of my app, probably a month or so from release, when all of a sudden I can’t get anything to print to the terminal and the Corona Simulator is freezing/crashing.

  • When I first started having issues a couple of days ago, my app on the simulator would print to the terminal halfway into the initiation code and then would hang and freeze.  I didn’t receive an error.  If I then restarted the simulator, it would no longer print anything.  Now I cannot get anything to print to the terminal even from startup.

  • Basically what happens now when I run the project, It opens the default splash screen and then i get the spinning wheel of death.

  • Running Sample Code projects do run correctly but also do not print to the terminal either.

  • Right now I am using build 2015.2561, I’ve also tried 2015.2540 and another build but not use.

  • When I use Lua glider and run the simulator from within lua glider, everything seems to work okay and prints to the terminal.  I’ve been using sublime text this whole time however and prefer that as there are other issues that I have with lua glider.

  • I was working on the systemEvent Runtime Listener for my game when this started.  I’ve tried completely bypassing this part of my code but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem. no matter what I print to the terminal. It just show nothing! I am not able to debug now.
