Notification with Firebase cloud Messaging

Hello, 

I am trying to integrate push notifications to my application with firebase cloud messaging but in the process I have many doubts. The first is that when I’m in the firebase console they tell me to change some lines in build.gradle, but I have no idea where that file is located. Another question I have is that in the documentation of the crown says to change the icons that appear in the folder res, what happens if I do not change them and leave them as they are? Thank you very much, I hope you help me

If it is on Android I can help you. I have not gotten it to work on Apple.
