Number Pad with Decimal

Please add an input type for text boxes for the number pad with decimal. It is available in the latest iOS SDK as UIKeyboardTypeDecimalPad. Currently, I’m having to use the default keyboard so a period is available, but the client really wants the num pad with decimal. I would try putting a decimal key above the keyboard but normal display objects won’t show over native objects. The only other work around I think of is to code my own num pad, but would be much nicer if it was built in.

9 months later and we still don’t have this feature? Bummer. I can’t imagine this would take very much time to implement and every app dealing with money needs it. [import]uid: 148686 topic_id: 9378 reply_id: 106020[/import]
