Obtaining information on new API additions

Many times, when there are API additions, some people seem to “know” or are able to “detect” them before information hits the documentation. How is this done? I would like to look into these new imageSheets, but not sure where to look.

Thanks for that link, I really should read the blog more.

I have subscribed to the RSS feed but don’t check it often enough.

Got to completely change my App now to use that new sprite feature as loading graphics in my app was a problem.
