[OFF-TOPIC] Mobile developer conference - India

Hi,

I am speaking at the mobile developer conference in my city on 10th sep in Pune.
My chosen topic is : Rapid game development using Corona SDK - The Experience.

I have 40 minutes to talk :slight_smile:

apart form introducing corona sdk features, i intend to introduce the group to a complete game in 10 minutes max
Inviting feedback and suggestions on a short game to be coded during the session within 10 minutes to display the power of corona sdk.

My current plan is to break the talk into 5 chunks:
10 minutes - intro to sdk and core features
10 minutes - rapid development of a game (should i do this or NOT is the question?)
10 mins - share app dev experience and go through some code in one of our LIVE apps.
5 mins - iOS - dos and donts.
5 mins - closing.

suggestions welcome from the group.

Oooh, exciting!

Can I suggest a simple 2 player pong game? Trausti (Corona user) created one in only 109 lines (as a newbie, no less!) and I shortened it down a bit and posted that on Techority.

That one is 73 lines - I think you could do that in 10 minutes :wink:
