For a project in work we are looking at creating a mobile application, the mobile app needs the following functionality and I’d love to use corona for this, so wondering if someone could help.

Ability to read an remote file (or db) and copy it locally to run offline (sync when online)

Create charts from the offline cache (above) and use it to create flow diagrams / bar charts / pie charts. (Highcharts/Raphael/Google Charts) - These charts need to work when we don’t have an internet connection.
I haven’t used corona since the old director class was released a few years back so don’t know how it can handle the above.
Any help would be appreciated.
