Offscreen culling problem?

Hi
I am working on a platformish side scrolling game.
The game scrolls between screen sized “tiles” 1024x768.
But the problem is that the sprites that are scrolling out of the view disappears before they are outside of
the borders of the screen.
This happens with build 840 and up. I also tested with earlier build 827
and the problem is not there. So my assumption is that it has something to do with the offscreen
culling that was disabled in build 824-840 ( or something like that )

Did anyone else see this problem?
