I downloaded a new version of corona SDK and installed it and it said I don’t meet the simulator’s minimum video hardware requirements, Minimum OpenGL version was 2.1. Below is the message that I got. I was wondering if it was possible to download an old version of corona SDK and use that. I’m making an app for android if that matter at all. Click to enlarge /
Did you try to update your graphics card drivers? For me, i ended up having to buy a new graphics card for my PC.
Hope this helps
Ok, I guess I’ll buy a new graphics card. Thanks for the help!
There are older builds that can be found on the download page. The last build that will run on older graphics hardware is 1262. This build cannot deploy to Apple due to changes in Apple’s requirements. I believe it can still deploy to Android. There have been many bugs fixed as this build is now over four public releases old and if a new video card or updated drivers are an option, I would go that route.

Try and update your drivers first! Buying a new card is a fallback option. If this is the only reason you would buy a new one.
Cheers
