Old Network Key

Just tried to put a newer version of one of my apps onto Google Play and it came up with an error that I am using a different network key… This has happened because my last computer blew up and I had to re-setup my Corona on a different computer… Is there anyway to retrieve and use an old network key??? Really upset about this because the apps I want to update already have a fairly high position in the charts and a great amount of downloads. The fact that I can’t update the apps also means that I can’t reach my users… Anybody know what can I do about this?

By network key do you mean keystore? If you’ve lost your keystore then you cannot update your existing apps. AFAIK there isn’t a way to retrieve a keystore.  You’d have to reupload your apps and start over.

Is this about using a debug key?  What version of Corona SDK are you building with?

Thanks

Rob

Hey guys, sorry my computer has been playing up…  Thank you for your responses… Am talking about my release keystore as with the loss of my older computer I also lost that keystore… I generally try and keep up with the builds but if i encounter a problem with an older app I generally uninstall the newer ones and reinstall the older ones till I get to work again… I know, a total NOOB way of doing it but unfortunately I didn’t realise that this would even be an issue as I was learning and quite simply, didn’t know… I have literally been waiting 11 months to update a particular app of mine but now google play says can’t upload my APK… quite depressing as this app has already started picking up again for the christmas season and I am missing out big time in revenue… :frowning: Anything at all that can be done?
