We’ve had complaints from several users with OnePlus 6 phones that started having issues when they upgraded to Android 10. Specifically, the entire screen is shifted down, leaving a gap at the top and cutting off content at the bottom. As I understand it, these phones run a modified version of Android called OxygenOS (OOS). Anyone else run into this?
We have a couple of OnePlus 7 Pro 5G phones running Oxygen OS on Android 9 and haven’t experienced any issues like this. Also have an older Pixel phone running Android 10, and a Samsung S8 which I think is running Android 10 but hasn’t been booted for some time now… Again, no issues.
Oxygen OS isn’t actually much more than stock Android with a custom launcher to be honest. Samsung have more layers than OnePlus in my experience.
Yes, they were fine on 9. The problems started when they upgraded to 10. We’ve heard this from multiple users.
