I’m planning on releasing a free version of my app while adding the open feint logo to the current app AND free app’s app icons.
Would my free version get rejected by the app store if I add the open feint logo to the app icon without actually submitting OF data in the game?

If your lite version only has a limited number of levels or amount of playtime people wont be able to top the high score list anyway; you could also give them some achievements while leaving most out.
