Open Ports: Data sharing between devices - possible?

I have a design where I’d like to have a Master/Slave relationship between two iOS devices (as an example) whereby my iPad controls or “syncs” with my iPhone. A Master & Slave so to speak.

Without using something like a game hub (i.e. Openfeint, etc.) is there a way - maybe via bluetooth - that Corona SDK allows for this kind of functionality/communication? Or is Apple controlling - for security purposes - an opening of ports for data transmission, etc.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this?

I am not aware of any sort of bluetooth or device-to-device implementation in Corona. That would be a nice feature though :). I think they are pushing PubNub for this kind of data transfer. [import]uid: 63320 topic_id: 13506 reply_id: 49631[/import]
