Does anyone know how long OF will hold up? My game still uses the old OF implementation of GC and I don’t want it to just stop working. I’m doing an update soon and thinking of switching to just GC on iOS but that might make people mad. Either way, I imagine it is going away one day, I just can’t find when.

@kRona, I’ve heard it will phase out at the end of this year (but then… their plans could have changed, so don’t hold me to it.)
FWIW, when I directly asked someone at Gree whether I should keep OF in my game (Beetle Bounce), I was advised against it. So I went ahead and removed OF from the game before I launched it. It’s just my personal experience and personal decision. Who knows, keeping OF may not cause any issues at all, but I thought I’d mention what I know and what I decided.

Thanks! You’ve helped me make up my mind. The end of the year is not too far away…I’m inclined to ditch it too and hope for the best, hopefully it won’t make people mad considering OF has been a feature…I guess better get rid of it sooner than later before more people start using it.
