Opening google map from Corona app for driving instruction

Is it possible to open google map from inside the Corona app (by clicking on an address text that can be automatically open on google map). I dont need this to be run inside my app and it is fine if it leaves the Corona app (no need for enterprise version.

We have just the tutorial for that:

Now it’s an older tutorial and Google may have changed their parameters and such, so your mileage may vary.  You may have to look up the parameters on Google’s doc sites.
