Opinions Please - Storyboard vs Director 1.4

Hello Everyone,

Just your quick opinions on using Storyboard or Director 1.4 when developing a point -n- click
adventure / puzzle / inventory type game (with a good story and graphics of coarse

Just wanted to get the general feedback on if you have or have not used both or one and why
you find it better or a bad idea for different types of games.

I currently use Director 1.4 myself, but that’s not etched in stone…by any means…I have not played
with Storyboard as of yet…
Thanks

Best Regards,

Personally, I’ve switched to storyboard for all of my new apps. Both work very well. Both handle plenty of options. Storyboard is a bit more code, but it gives you more options like being able to do things before the scene loads, after it loads, before it’s removed, etc. and tries to use memory a bit better.
