OrbitLab, my first app for iPad and Android tablets, is now in iTunes and Google Play. Also coming up in Amazon, but still waiting on review for that.

With OrbitLab you can see how planets, asteroids, and satellites behave in space, under the mutual influence of gravity. Planetary systems are created with controlled, but randomized parameters. Each planetary system creates its own unique music, directly related to the orbits of the bodies within it.
OrbitLab stems from an app I made for Macintosh back in 1986 called Orbital Mech. That version was written mostly in Forth, with a little assembler code to speed up some of the calculations. I sold about $40,000 worth of that, but my expenses were $60,000. I’m hoping this time I’ll at least stay in the black.
Currently it’s only for tablets, but I’m working on ways to fit everything onto a small screen.
