At the beginning of this year, Walter outlined new platforms as a major theme for 2015. And a few months later, at GDC, we announced bringing Mac App and Win32 App support to the Corona platform. Since then, we’ve been conducting private betas with a small group of Corona developers.
Today, we are opening up the Mac App and Win32 App betas to everyone in the Corona community!

I’m so angry I don’t have anything ready right this second for this…
It seems to work! I was able to build one of the ios/android apps I am working on as a Mac OSX build and it is running. I had to comment out all of the plugins for this to work and I haven’t gone through the blog post yet to see how to make the icon yet. So great to see this in action!
can anybody explain what has to be done inside the apple developer center regarding Identifiers and Provisioning Profiles for Mac Development? Can they all be identical (names) to the ones already done for iOS, so the build.settings file can be the same?
I hope this really takes off - Corona SDK is amazing and has everything we need for real, desktop apps and games that could end up on services like Steam…
