After a year of using Corona and publishing 3 games with it, I conclude that Corona SDK is excellent for small teams to churn out fast games for the two major mobile platforms. The only drawback is that the app size overhead of about 3MB might deter developers from using it to create basic non-game apps. Other than that, if you want to get right down to making 2D multi-platform mobile games, Corona is hands down the best option.
Reason for stopping production is because we’re doing this game dev thing as a hobby instead of a full-time job. Bills need to be paid, haha.
Thanks to the Corona team for helping us with the final publishing of the game. We are now free for hire. [import]uid: 108204 topic_id: 34413 reply_id: 334413[/import]
