Outlaw IDE availability

Hi,

I’ve been trying for the last 48 hours to access outlawgametools.com to download the Outlaw IDE but the site is down. Is the downtime temporary or is the IDE no longer available? Is there an alternative link to download/purchase the IDE?

Many thanks [import]uid: 237970 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 67444[/import]

Link works perfectly for me. [import]uid: 77199 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 145612[/import]

This is very odd. I can’t for the life of me access the site. I tried with different browsers but still can’t connect. [import]uid: 237970 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 145615[/import]

works fine for me [import]uid: 32462 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 145616[/import]

You can try using a proxy or a proxy site like http://www.hidemyass.com/ to use the contact form and contact them since they don’t list their email. That way you don’t have to input any personal information besides your e-mail address [import]uid: 77199 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 145617[/import]

That’s really odd – I’m glad other people here can access it okay.

You say you’ve tried different browsers – is your system weird at all? You know, like you’re using an Amiga 500 virtual machine on an Ubuntu Linux box, or something like that? :slight_smile:

PS - A couple days ago Hostgator switched all my sites from one server to another. They said all DNS would be propagated within 48 hours and we’ve already past that, but I wonder if there isn’t some DNS server somewhere in your neck of the words that’s updating slower than normal. @hatethinkingofnames:
Thank you for your suggestion. I was able to access the site (on the second attempt) using hidemyass.com

@Jay:
I have a normal setup. Win 7 pro x64. I tried accessing the site from Firefox, chrome and IE. Non worked. I am based in Germany. Might that have any relevance? If it is a DNS propagation issue then why using hidemyass.com worked? This is very weird. And by the way, i can’t access any of your other sites (masteringcoronasdk.com, jayjennings.com, threeringranch.com, …). [import]uid: 237970 topic_id: 37444 reply_id: 145625[/import]

Since you can’t see any of the others, I’ll bet it’s a DNS issue. The proxy would work because it’s coming at my sites from somewhere else on the planet. I just did some digging and it said some DNS routers can take up to 72 hours to update so I’ll bet within the next day or so the sites start reappearing for you. (I hope!)
