Hello guys, I have made my first game.

The idea is a simple jump up higher game. I thought this is the easiest game to start from learning LUA and the Corona’s SDK.

Thoughts:

Played around with loading large images - has issues
Tested drawing various amounts of sprites on different levels - fast but can lag sometimes
Tested animations with multiple bitmaps - quite fast and works well
HTTP Post submission - works quite well

Question:

How do we get the app to ask user to give rating upon exit or in game?

Updates

Fixes:

  1. Realised that submissions needs to be url encoded otherwise, it crashes the system
  2. Added a tap that links through to scores page [import]uid: 6066 topic_id: 1031 reply_id: 3400[/import]
