OK.
Thanks.
Just throwing this out there…
Try the advice given in the below links (in order)
Worth a shot I reckon
Thanks,

Thanks for testing.
Is this a fresh install of Windows XP ?
No. I have been using it for a while. Parallels is new as of this past spring.
Ok, so this is turning into a little bit of a needle in a haystack kind of situation.
To rule out any viruses/misconfigurations or anything like that… this is what I suggest:
Keep your old version of XP, but install it again in as a new virtual machine.
Download corona onto it (via XP) and try to run the debugger.
If it fails then we know that it either won’t work in this environment or that we are missing something perhaps.
Sorry I haven’t been that helpful so far. It’s hard to diagnose something when you don’t have the means to reproduce it. i’m sure you are aware of that.
Ok. I don’t want to keep taking up your time. I don’t have the install disks for xp. I am able to run the debugger directly without the error. So I can run that and do my editing in outlaw separately.
Thanks,
Reed
Glad you found a work around. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
At least you know that a Windows 8 upgrade works as expected.
It’s amazing how far virtualization has come. I can run Windows 8 via Parallels on my second monitor, whilst running my Mac OS without any slowdown.
Thanks for your help. Yes I have 8 and 7 running on my imac very reliably.
