Particle Candy And Following A Sprite

Hi

I wondered if anyone could provide a high level example (or point me to a sample file in particle candy examples i may have missed) of how to get particles to follow a sprite?

I am reading that this can be done with an FXField but cannot work it out.

Basiccally i wish to use particles as my bad guys. So when they appear they slowly home in on my hero.

any pointers would be very much appreciated.
