Particle emitter (Pro only)?

Hi

Just downloaded latest public and daily build versions of the SDK, and both versions warn that ‘newEmitter’ only works on the Pro version. There is no ‘pro’ version that I can see. Does the built-in particle system work on the free tier - if so, what do we do to get it to work?

Hi @idealconceptz,

There is no “pro” version any longer. Particle emitters should be available to all. Can you show me an exact printout of the warning message you’re receiving? Does the emitter actually work anyway, regardless of the warning?

Also have you done a Deauthorize and Quit (On the preferences screen)?  If you do this and log back in, it should clear any old ideas that you’re still a Starter account.

Hi,

I am having the same issue in build 2600 in windows … when I run display.newEmitter code, I got warning that it is only available to Pro.

I tried to DE-authorize and authorize my machines but it didn’t help, any other advice !

I tied today in Mac and it worked… I will try in my Windows as well.
