Partner or Collaborate- I'm looking

I’m looking for a partner or collaborator. I’m new to Corona but not design, art or productivity. Here’s a bit of information about me:

One of my most recent media articles:

My general faculty page:

My app in the showcase:

My experience so far with the coding side of game development has been pretty lonely and solitary. With the lack of direction and documentation I’m getting a little frustrated but plugging away anyway. I recently released my first app (Butterfly Counting) and am already busy improving it for the next version as well as working on a second, larger project. I have scripts written for casual adventure games, interactive fiction and general kids fare (I’m also releasing my first middle grade novel next week). I’m also pretty serious about getting the graphics right.

I’d like to collaborate with someone who is comfortable with Corona and has some experience with casual gaming puzzles, matching, etc.

This is a shot in the dark, but I figure, it’s better to ask than lose enthusiasm.

Thanks,

I’m in a similar boat. I’ve got a lot of game ideas and I’m comfortable that I can program them all, but I need art and sound effects and its holding me up creating my games.

Even then, producing OmniBlaster (http://bit.ly/omniblaster) I’ve been overwhelmed by the whole process. Its not just a game you put up on iTunes, its building a website and keeping it up to date, its marketing and social networking and working on the next round of upgrades while trying to find time to work on your other projects.

So this would work much better in a team environment. The problem is revenue and how to split it. I’ve made so little on my game, which is sad because everyone has said they love is, that I’m not our of the hole on my setup costs yet.

So if you want to talk, rob at omnigeekmedia dot com and I’ll be interested to hear what you have in mind.
