Paying $200 actually *reduces* functionality??

During Trial:

I was able to use Corona across multiple computers (e.g. desktop and laptop) allowing me to develop anywhere. The trial notice would pop up and I would bypass it, allowing me to run the simulator on multiple computers using the same Corona SDK account.

After Trial - now that I am a PAID member:

I can only run the Corona simulator on an “authorized” computer, of which there can only be one! So now my laptop that I was using for development is useless and I can only develop from my desktop. I can understand not allowing *builds* on multiple machines, but not even allowing the simulator to run? You’ve taken away functionality that I had during the free trial, which makes no sense!

Really not happy at the moment.

What is the logic behind this?

I just made a bunch of free accounts for the other computers I use, and I have the one building computer.

(I actually am coding most of my iOS game on windows, can we get network.request and iPad/iPhone4 resolutions in the windows simulator?)

yes creating multiple accounts gets round the problem, but I shouldn’t have to do that.

On a very basic level, I expect *at least* the same functionality as the trial! Otherwise it defeats the point of a trial - you get used to a certain workflow, you pay for the software then *bam* you have to figure out a new way to work. [import]uid: 14382 topic_id: 6143 reply_id: 21046[/import]

Yeah, I was having trouble even before I got the subscription, I wasn’t able to use more than two computers with the one account.

The license is two computers per subscription.

You should be able to run your paid subscription in two CPU’s. Laptop/Desktop. Desktop/Desktop. Laptop/Laptop.

If you are having issues with a second CPU email at support@anscamobile.com

Most likely, you need to “de-authorize” one of the CPUs that the ‘free’ subscription was tied to, and then re-authorize.

ok - perhaps that needs to be made clearer in the user flow. when I tried to use the 2nd computer the error message said (paraphrased) “you can only use this license with an authorized computer, to use multiple computers please purchase another license (link to purchase page)” which made it seem like the only solution was to buy multiple licenses, even for just a 2 computer setup. Thanks for the feedback
