Paying customer Cannot register Corona

HELP!!!
I just paid my $99 for your program, downloaded it, and typed in my email and password (I’ve been registered on your site since August).
It says email password do not match. I even tried logging into your site, changed my password and it still doesn’t work!

Please help me resolve this issue.

I had this problem and it turned out I was trying the wrong email address, finally used the right one after being convinced I was already doing so and ignoring the first recommendation of jeff johnson and went straight in no problem [import]uid: 2131 topic_id: 278 reply_id: 364[/import]

Jeff, sorry for the delay. After looking through our logs, it doesn’t appear that your actually connecting to our servers. There’s a bug where if you can get a gateway address from your router, but corona can’t actually get to the internet, it will give you a username/password error instead of a ‘can’t connect’ error. I think this may be a similar case. Can you check your firewall settings in security on your mac and make sure, or at least try using the ‘allow all incoming connections’ setting? Corona uses port 80, but your firewall can still block traffic from specific applications and I’m wondering if maybe you have your firewall set up to only allow traffic you’ve specified. Let me know if you find anything. [import]uid: 5 topic_id: 278 reply_id: 371[/import]

Hi Jeff,

looks like i have a similar problem. Just “upgraded” from so far beta and early preview customer to 99$ paying customer and use the same emailaddress i use for logging in to your site after starting the simulator and receive a “could not verify account information” reminder.

Could you please have a look?

Thx

Looks like the order completed, did you download the latest DMG? Can you send me a screen shot of the screen you’re seeing? You can email it to jeff@anscamobile.com. The logs on our end don’t show any errors, though they don’t actually show you logging in with the simulator either.

One other thing you can try is to delete the preferences and try again.

The file you want to delete is com.anscamobile.ratatouille.plist in the Users/username/Library/Preferences folder. [import]uid: 5 topic_id: 278 reply_id: 378[/import]
