Built this small app to convert an .app file to IPA that is usable for TestFlight… It uses a variety of command files already on most Mac systems.
All you really do is just drop the *.APP file onto the screen and will generate a payload.ipa file in the same directory as the .app file.

Interesting. All I do is have a folder called payload. I then drop my app in there. Zip the folder and then change the extension from zip to ipa (payload.ipa) I can then drop that ipa file into testflight. I did not try yet your app but will it do that in one step? I am sorry I am not by my Mac at the moment.

I also made a little tool for .app to Testflight. You must have the TestFlight Desktop App installed.
Instead of running another app, you just install this Automator Service, then you can right-click any .app and It loads up TF with the .ipa ready. It does the payload stuff for you.
