Pays on Impressions - Banner Ads?

I’m using banner ads in my app and was wondering if there were any networks that pay on an impression basis as opposed to a click basis.

If there are, do you recommend using them, or is pay per click a better option?

admob gives decent ecpms for banner ads. I think they are some kind of mix between impression and click based. You’ll see a higher ecpm on iOS than you will on android.
